The Louis Erard X Konstantin Chaykin Unfrogettable Brown Watch 85340AA04.BVA193 gives the celebrated Unfrogettable frog a warmer, darker and more sophisticated new personality. Limited to only 178 pieces, this Louis Erard limited edition pairs Konstantin Chaykin's unmistakable character watch design with rich brown and ochre tones, 5N gold-coloured details, a Grade 5 titanium case and a Swiss automatic regulator movement.

The unusual face is brought to life by a horizontal regulator display, with the hour disc positioned at 9 o'clock and the running seconds disc at 3 o'clock to create the frog's rotating eyes. An arrow-shaped central hand displays the minutes. For this brown edition, a light brown grained dial is surrounded by dark brown counters and a two-tone dark brown and ochre minute ring. The hour and minute discs are 5N plated with dark brown lacquered pupils, while green luminescent accents provide contrast in low light. Louis Erard and Konstantin Chaykin branding is positioned at 6 o'clock.

A 40mm Grade 5 titanium case surrounds the expressive display, with alternating satin-finished and polished surfaces emphasising its sculptural form. The case measures 46.50mm lug-to-lug and 12.45mm thick, while sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment on both sides protects the dial. The royal crown inspired winding crown at 12 o'clock receives a warm 5N PVD treatment specifically for this brown edition. A transparent caseback reveals the movement and carries the "1 OF 178" limited edition engraving. Water resistance is 5 bar, equivalent to 50 metres.

The mechanical heart of the Unfrogettable Brown is the Sellita SW266-1 automatic regulator calibre, an elaborated grade 31 jewel movement running at 28,800 vibrations per hour with approximately 38 hours of power reserve. Its special openworked oscillating weight incorporates a black lacquered Louis Erard symbol. The black Himeji Kurozan leather strap is equally distinctive, using naturally tanned calf leather that is hand-rubbed and traditionally finished with Urushi lacquer in Japan. Black stitching and a black leather lining complete the darker aesthetic.
