Oris ProPilot X Gonzo Edition Watch

The Oris ProPilot X Gonzo Edition Watch 01 115 7759 7180-Set brings one of The Muppets' most unforgettable characters into the world of Swiss mechanical watchmaking. Based on the skeletonised Oris ProPilot X Calibre 115, the Gonzo Edition combines a 44mm titanium case, hand-wound manufacture movement and extraordinary 10-day power reserve with colourful details inspired by The Great Gonzo.

The openworked dial provides the stage for this playful collaboration, with a blue, red and yellow gradient adding colour across the skeletonised architecture. A distinctive chilli-shaped hand indicates the non-linear power reserve, while Gonzo himself is incorporated directly into the mechanics. As the watch is wound, his smiling face gradually appears on the mainspring at 11 o'clock, creating a detail that is both entertaining and mechanically integrated into the watch.

The bold 44mm multi-piece case is crafted from lightweight titanium and protected by domed sapphire crystal with double-sided anti-reflective coating. A transparent sapphire caseback provides another view of the mechanical construction, while special engravings identify the Gonzo Edition. Water resistance is rated to 10 bar, or 100 metres, and the watch is completed by a titanium bracelet for a fully integrated contemporary appearance.

At the heart of the Oris ProPilot X Gonzo Edition is the hand-wound Oris Calibre 115. This impressive mechanical movement operates at 21,600 vibrations per hour, or 3 Hz, and delivers an exceptional 240-hour, or 10-day, power reserve. Functions include central hours and minutes, subsidiary seconds at 7:30, a non-linear power reserve indicator at 3 o'clock and stop-second functionality. The skeletonised construction allows the movement itself to become a major part of the visual identity of the watch.

The Oris ProPilot X Gonzo Edition Watch 01 115 7759 7180-Set is a standout choice for collectors searching for an Oris watch, Oris ProPilot X, Oris Gonzo watch, Oris Muppets watch, skeleton watch, titanium watch or 10-day power reserve watch. Combining the technical character of the ProPilot X Calibre 115 with the unmistakable personality of The Great Gonzo, this unusual Oris mechanical watch brings together serious Swiss watchmaking and a playful approach to contemporary horology.
