For this reason, we offer a 30 Day Money Back Guarantee on most eligible purchases, allowing you to request a refund or exchange should you decide your item is not suitable. Our returns process is designed to be transparent, straightforward and fair, whilst protecting the integrity of the luxury products we supply.
Please note that certain exclusions apply and some products are subject to alternative return conditions as outlined below.
30 Day Money Back Guarantee
Most full-price products purchased through the Clarindon Jewellers website are eligible for our 30 Day Money Back Guarantee. Returns must be made within 30 days of purchase, the customer remains responsible for return shipping costs.
Refunds or exchanges may be requested within 30 days of receiving your order, provided the item is returned in accordance with our return conditions.
If you choose to exchange an item, the replacement product will not subsequently qualify for a refund unless found to be faulty.
All returns are subject to inspection upon receipt.
This applies to:
- Sale items
- Clearance products
- Products purchased using promotional codes or special offers
- Pre-owned watches
- Pre-owned jewellery
- Ex-display products
These items must be returned within 14 days of delivery to qualify for a refund or exchange. The customer remains responsible for return shipping costs.
Return Conditions
To qualify for a refund, exchange or store credit, all returned items must be:
- Unworn and unused
- In brand new condition
- Free from marks, scratches or signs of wear
- Returned complete with all original packaging and documentation
Returned items must include:
- Original presentation box
- Manufacturer packaging
- Warranty cards
- Certificates
- Instruction manuals
- Swing tags
- Accessories
- Complimentary gifts supplied with the order
Returns may be refused where any part of the original package is missing or damaged.
Please include proof of purchase with all returns. as well as proof of postage in customer service communications.
Watches, Jewellery & Luxury Products
Luxury watches and jewellery require careful handling.
Products will not qualify for a refund if they have been:
- Worn
- Resized
- Adjusted
- Altered
- Engraved
- Personalised
- Modified in any way
Any signs of wear may result in a reduction of the refund value or rejection of the return.
Non-Returnable Items
The following products cannot be returned or exchanged unless faulty, damaged upon arrival or supplied incorrectly:
- Personalised or engraved items
- Resized or adjusted jewellery
- Watches with altered or adjusted bracelets
- Watches where bracelet links have been removed
- Bespoke jewellery
- Made-to-order products
- Special order watches
- Special order jewellery
- Limited edition products ordered specifically for a customer
- Earrings (for hygiene reasons)
- Gift cards
- Cleaning products
- Smartwatches that have been paired, registered or used
Watch Straps, Bracelets, Accessories & Spare Parts
Due to the specialist nature of these products, we cannot accept returns of:
- Watch straps
- Rubber straps
- Leather straps
- NATO straps
- Watch bracelets
- Bracelet links
- Buckles
- Clasps
- Spare parts
- Watch accessories
- Manufacturer accessories
- Products ordered specifically for a customer
unless faulty, damaged or supplied incorrectly.
Many straps, bracelets and accessories are sourced directly from manufacturers specifically against customer orders and therefore cannot be returned once ordered.
Special Order Watches & Jewellery
Many luxury watches and jewellery items are sourced directly from manufacturers, distributors or suppliers specifically to fulfil a customer's order.
Special order products may include:
- Watches ordered directly from manufacturers
- Limited edition watches
- Allocated watches
- Bespoke jewellery
- Made-to-order products
- Products sourced specifically upon request
- Manufacturer accessories and spare parts
Where an item has been specially ordered, reserved, customised or sourced specifically for a customer, the order becomes non-cancellable once confirmed and cannot be returned unless:
- The item is faulty
- The item is not as described
- The item has been supplied incorrectly
- Applicable consumer legislation requires otherwise
Deposits paid on special order products may become non-refundable once an order has been placed with the manufacturer or supplier.
Bracelet Alterations
Clarindon Jewellers offers a complimentary bracelet sizing service on selected watches.
Once a bracelet has been altered, adjusted or links removed, the watch becomes a customised product and cannot be returned or exchanged unless faulty.
For this reason, we recommend requesting bracelet adjustments only once you are completely satisfied with your purchase.
Online Orders Only
This policy applies to purchases made through the Clarindon Jewellers website.
For purchases made in person or through private appointments, please contact our team for details of the applicable returns policy.
Processing Times
Once your return has been received and inspected, please allow up to 14 working days for processing.
Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used at checkout.
Depending on your payment provider, funds may take additional time to appear in your account.
Important Information
Please note:
- The returns period begins on the date the item is delivered
- Items showing signs of wear cannot be accepted for a full refund
- Complimentary gifts must be returned with the original order
- Complimentary gifts sent separately do not extend the returns period
- Damage caused by misuse, accidents, neglect or unauthorised repairs is not covered by this policy
- Manufacturer warranties operate separately from this returns policy
Nothing within this policy affects your statutory consumer rights.
Returning Your Order
For security and insurance purposes, we strongly recommend returning products using a fully insured and tracked delivery service such as Royal Mail Special Delivery.
Customers remain responsible for returned goods until safely received by Clarindon Jewellers.
