These Terms & Conditions may have changed since you last reviewed them. Please read them carefully before placing an order.


1. What These Terms Cover

These Terms & Conditions apply to the supply of goods and services by Clarindon Jewellers, whether purchased online, by telephone, by email or otherwise.

They explain:

  • How orders are accepted
  • Payment and delivery terms
  • Your rights to cancel or return items
  • What to do if there is a problem

By placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, or that you have permission from a parent or guardian.

3. Our Contract With You

When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase products from us.

A contract is formed only when we confirm acceptance of your order.

Order confirmation emails acknowledge receipt only and do not constitute acceptance.

Ownership of goods passes to you once payment is received in full.

We reserve the right to refuse an order where:

  • An item is unavailable or out of stock
  • A pricing or product description error has occurred
  • Delivery is unavailable to your location
  • Age or identity verification cannot be completed
  • We suspect fraudulent activity

Any payments made will be refunded within 30 days if an order is rejected.


4. Payments

We accept payment via:

  • Major credit and debit cards
  • PayPal
  • Bank transfer
  • Klarna (where available)
  • Finance providers (subject to status)
  • Gift cards and store credit where applicable

Payment must be made in full before dispatch unless otherwise agreed in writing.


5. Delivery

UK Delivery

  • Free UK delivery on orders over £125
  • Orders below £125 start from £7.50
  • Orders placed before 4pm Monday to Friday are normally dispatched the same day
  • All UK deliveries are fully tracked and insured
  • Signature may be required upon delivery
  • Saturday delivery options may be available at checkout

Delivery times are estimates only and cannot be guaranteed unless expressly stated.

International Delivery

  • International orders are sent via tracked and signed services
  • Delivery times typically range between 3–7 working days depending on destination
  • All international orders are shipped on a Delivery Duty Unpaid (DDU) basis unless otherwise stated
  • Customs duties, import taxes and local charges are the responsibility of the customer

6. Variations In Products

  • Product images are for illustration purposes only
  • Colours may vary depending on monitor and device settings
  • Measurements and weights are approximate
  • Handmade products may display natural variations
  • Where measurements are supplied by you, accuracy remains your responsibility

7. Your Right To Change Your Mind

Legal Rights

Under UK consumer law, you have the right to cancel most online purchases within 14 days of receiving your goods.

Clarindon Goodwill Guarantee

We extend this period to 30 days on selected full-price items.

This extended returns period does not apply to:

  • Personalised or engraved items
  • Resized, altered or adjusted items
  • Bespoke or custom-made products
  • Special order products
  • Made-to-order items
  • Earrings (for hygiene reasons)
  • Watch straps
  • Watch bracelets
  • Spare parts
  • Accessories
  • Products sourced specifically at the customer's request

These products are non-returnable unless faulty, damaged or supplied incorrectly.


8. Pre-Orders & Deposits

Pre-orders may be cancelled within 30 days of goods becoming available.

After this period, deposits become non-refundable.

Special order and manufacturer-sourced products may require a non-refundable deposit.

Where appropriate, cancellations may be settled via store credit rather than a refund.


9. Returns

Items must be returned within:

  • 14 days for discounted or sale items where accepted
  • 30 days for eligible full-price items

Returned items must be:

  • Unworn and unused
  • In original condition
  • Complete with original packaging
  • Accompanied by all documentation, warranty cards, tags and accessories
  • Supported by proof of purchase

Non-Returnable Products

We cannot accept returns of:

  • Watch straps
  • Watch bracelets
  • Spare parts
  • Accessories
  • Bespoke items
  • Made-to-order products
  • Special order products
  • Personalised or engraved items
  • Resized or altered jewellery
  • Earrings

unless faulty, damaged upon arrival or supplied incorrectly.

Returns are made at the customer's expense unless the item is faulty or supplied in error.

Clarindon Jewellers reserves the right to refuse a refund or apply a deduction where returned goods show signs of wear, damage, use, modification or missing components.


10. Product Faults

Your rights are protected under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Where goods are faulty:

  • Up to 30 days: you may be entitled to a full refund
  • Up to 6 months: repair, replacement or refund may be available
  • Beyond 6 months: remedies will be assessed in accordance with applicable consumer legislation

Manufacturer warranties are provided in addition to your statutory rights.


11. Promotional Code Exclusions (17.7)

Certain brands, products and services may be excluded from promotional offers, discount codes, finance promotions or other incentives.

Exclusions may apply to:

  • Limited editions
  • Special orders
  • New releases
  • Selected watch brands
  • Selected jewellery collections

Please contact our team for the latest eligibility information.

Clarindon Jewellers reserves the right to amend promotional exclusions at any time without prior notice.


12. Pricing & Errors

Whilst every effort is made to ensure pricing accuracy, errors may occasionally occur.

Where a pricing error is identified:

  • We are not obliged to fulfil orders at an incorrect price
  • You will be offered the option to proceed at the correct price or receive a full refund

13. Manufacturer Restrictions

Certain brands may impose restrictions on:

  • International shipping
  • Promotional discounts
  • Finance offers
  • Online sales

We reserve the right to amend availability and purchasing options in accordance with manufacturer agreements.


14. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

Subject to applicable law, we shall not be liable for:

  • Loss of profits
  • Delays outside our reasonable control
  • Events caused by third-party couriers or suppliers

15. Force Majeure

  • Cybersecurity incidents
  • Carrier delays

By placing an order, you consent to the processing of your information for the purposes of fulfilling that order and providing customer support.


17. General Provisions

17.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Clarindon Jewellers.

17.2 Severability

If any provision is deemed invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain enforceable.

17.3 Waiver

Failure to enforce any right shall not constitute a waiver of that right.

17.4 Third Parties

No third party has rights under these Terms.

17.5 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

17.6 Jurisdiction

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
