The case is designed to be completely durable as the bezel and case back are locked together by external tubing to ensure absolute water resistance while the bezel ring is crafted from polished tungsten, the strongest of natural metals. This combination of materials are often used in electrical and military applications due to their strength and resilience.

The dial of the U Boat Chimera Net Tungsten Limited Edition watch is breathtaking and consists of three superimposed discs with the last layer intricately made of a laser cut fine wire mesh which allows the wearer to watch the U-77 automatic mechanical chronograph movement subtly from the wrist. The dial is completed by laser cut hour and minute hands that have been set with white luminova and a red 24 hour indicator hand, all which contrast beautifully against the dial for easy readability. For the finishing touch, the timepiece is completed by a black alligator leather strap.
